I'm 39 years old & I've been watching the Virginian since I was 16 with my grandparents. Judge Dorothy is my favorite character. But, like James, I want to be a man just like Lee Cobb. I was born in the wrong time. I wish I could meet Mr. Drury. I like to know everything about the show.

Why was the show called the Virginian? I'm assuming that is where the guy was from, but do they ever say so? How'd he end up in Wyoming? Why not make the show about the South? I mean, the Rebel was a stupid show.. just curious...
