James Drury, 'The Virginian', was a dedicated Shiloh Ranch Foreman in the setting of Wyoming, which gained its Statehood in 1890. He was a man of strong virtue, who shared the right way to do things and not the wrong way.

Zane Grey, a writer of adventure, had a fascination for
Wyoming and was inspired by Owen Wister's great Western
novel,'The Virginian'.

Wister's novel became a TV Series, with great actors appearing in many episodes. The yesterdays and the present, tell of the popularity of this TV Series. I am happy to have added 'The Virginian' to my collection of "the old West".

TV series NEW

I've never seen this TV Series. As I can see it is very interesting one and I think I'd like to see some episodes. Maybe I would really like it.
