I got to see Chuck Conners in my home town of Lubbock, Tx.

I loved watching the Rilfman, with my Dad, all the time. I got the toy Rifleman guns on Christmas & had 3. Wish I'd kept them. I had my first real one made in 1981. I could spin cock it, just like Chuck did. I put on shows with it sometimes. Now I have 2 just like the last style he used in the later shows. I can spin them both at the same time & I can shoot 11 rounds pretty fast, using either hand.

I was there when Chuck Conners was at Wimbledon Olds NEW
by: Mike Cobb

I was there when Chuck Conners made a celebrity guest appearance at Womble Olds in Lubbock . I'm thinking it was around 1962 or 63. I was about 8 years old. I'm 61 today. My mom took me and my little brother to see him. A long line of children waited to sit in his lap and see his legendary rifle. We waited in line forever and I got to sit in his lap. Mr. Conners called quits with me and my little brother didn't get to sit and we the rifle. The disappointment broke my little brothers heart. He fired the rifle before we left. 50 plus years ago but I remember it like it was yesterday. Huge memory 😀

You did a good job on the post. I would want to write my own essay as opposed to having someone else you happen to have any tips for writers that do it for me. Would I can read through and use to improve on my writing?

Chuck Conners in Lubbock, Texas NEW
by: Paul Slonaker

I remember when Chuck Conners came to Lubbock, Texas. I dont remember the year, but I remember he came out on the car port roof of Womble Oldsmobile on 19th Street and he started firing his rifle. My parents took me down there for it and it was double cool. Johnny Crawford was not there for whatever reason, but Chuck put on quite a show for a few minutes.
